2nd place for Lena Krabbe at the 3MT Competition of EuMW in Milan
LHFT congratulates Lena Krabbe for winning 2nd place in the Three-Minutes-Thesis (3MT) Competition at the 25th European Microwave Week (EuMW) in Milan. In her short presentation entitled “Yes Officer, we know how fast everyone was going”, Lena Krabbe explained how automotive radars can estimate the speed of surrounding objects as well as their own motion. In the 3MT format, complex research content is to be presented in a descriptive and creative way in a maximum of three minutes in order to arouse interest in the presented topic, but also to show how important and fascinating science is. With her short presentation, Lena Krabbe managed to prevail against 14 other finalists.
